Because that animation seemed like it was made by a beginner.
Linkin Park doesnt go with any animation well, mostly with this one.
The animation was real slow and choppy.
The pixels seemed like thay were 5 cm big.
Ive seen this video like, a year ago on youtube, the exact one.
So I think this is stolen.

That was awful, the blood was bad, the music was just the beginning of a song. Repeated over and over and over again. The people were simple, the animation of them dying was terrible. The weapons were boring. Oh it was just bad, practice more, don't submit anything until you can make something decent.

Well, it was good. But during the action scene, he reloaded once before he went in. Pistol whipped some guy, then reloaded again. What the hell? Also, as time moved on there were no muzzle flashes, and the explosions looked rubbish.

Also at the end he put a fag in his mouth, next scene it wasn't there.

This was better than your MK weirdos one.
I personally thought it had a few good things that made it stand out, and some that made it like most sprite flashes.
Possitive:
It moved at a decent pace.
It had some good animation for a sprite movie.

Bad:
It lacked a sort of style from the other MK tributes.
It had some bad editing, which good editing is most important in sprite flashes.
Some of the moves seemed a little jittery.

It wasn't too interesting to watch, It had some humor that made me chuckle, but it was not entertaining enough to make me want to watch it more than once.
Keep trying on sprite work, but if you choose to do something else, try looking at tutorials for help on how to get better.

It is very great, it is even more amazing of an animation knowing that you did it on paper.
You sir, are odviously not lazy considering I quit after 5 minutes of animating on paper.
